Wine Tour At Niagara On The Lake
Yesterday I went on my very first wine tour with a group of friends and it was so much fun. We rented a limo bus that took us in to Canada’s Niagara on the Lake wineries. One of the most beautiful places we visited was Chateau De Charms, the entry way alone was worth the trip and the view to the vineyards behind the building was amazing.
I started with a sweet dessert wine and ventured on to a very dry red. Next we visited Pelletieri winery and toured the barrel room and more. This is where I made my first purchase a dry cabernet sauvignon. I honestly can’t tell you how many wines I tasted in the day but I liked most of the reds and maybe one or two of the whites.
After the third winery we decided it would be a good idea to get something to eat, so we went to this cute Irish pub and then heading to the strip to do a little shopping. I got a bit of a jump start on some Christmas shopping.
The weather was perfect, the company was great and the wine was divine. If you’ve never been on a wine tour I would highly recommend that you do.
