After losing men's basketball coach Nate Oats, the University of Buffalo has made moves to insure it doesn't lose its women's basketball coach as well.  UB has announced it has come to an agreement on a contract extension for coach Felisha Legette-Jack.

Legette-Jack's new contract runs thru March 31st, 2024.  Her base salary is set at $270,000 a year with additional levels of compensation.  The contract also includes a buy-out clause, similar to what Oats used to leave UB for a high-profile job at Alabama.

If Legette-Jack leaves UB before March 31st of next year, she would owe UB $250,000.  She had been mentioned for jobs at Penn State and Georgia Tech.

Under the guidance of Legettte-Jack, the UB Lady Bulls have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in three of the past four seasons.  Her record in seven seasons at UB is 143-86.
