Why This Josh Allen Sign Is So Wrong [PHOTO]

A sign from the most recent Buffalo Bills game is getting widespread attention on social media, and not in a good way. 

Look, I get it – Josh Allen is the man. After all, he is the face of the Gatorade billboard that may be the largest billboard to ever be featured in Buffalo history, measuring in at 120’ tall and 110’ wide. The billboard is currently covering the entire side of the Statler building in downtown Buffalo, and nobody is mad about it because obviously we love Josh. 

But at some point, a line can be crossed, and one Bills fan may have done it with this sign during the Monday night game.

A woman who was sitting towards the front row at the Buffalo Bills - Jacksonville Jaguars game at Highmark Stadium attended the game with her husband, but she brought a sign with her that was pretty difficult to miss. 

Take a look at the screengrab below from the official NFL broadcast. 

The sign said:

“Josh, I just got married, but I’d leave my husband for you! P.S. He’s right here.” 

Look, I’m not faulting the fan for loving Josh Allen or showing her support for him, but it’s just a little weird to me. I mean, she even says that her husband is with her, which maybe she thought would make it better – but the gentleman next to her looked really bothered in the screengrab of the footage. Maybe that’s why so many people have voiced their disdain for the sign on social media?

I’m sure the husband gave his blessing for his wife to hold up the sign, but when it comes to marriage, it is a serious thing and there shouldn’t be exceptions to the loyalty a couple has for each other – even if Josh Allen was on the market. 

Josh Allen seems to be very happy with his girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld. They have been together for over a year now, and she has been to Highmark Stadium a handful of times to support her man. If she’s unbothered by the sign, it’s probably fine, and I’m sure the couple went home from the game laughing to each other that the sign caused all of this uproar.
