Local families recently got to find out by participating in a family sleepover at the Aquarium of Niagara. The “Scuba Snooze” program is usually designated for groups of 25 or more, but the Aquarium hosted a special Family Scuba Snooze that was open to individual families on December 28, 2019.

"We are going to be doing a scavenger hunt, we are going to be doing a touch tank experience, where they'll get to touch some invertebrates. They'll get to touch sea stars, a sea urchin, a hermit crab, and a channel welch, which is a sea snail," special programs host Veronica Arce told WGRZ.

Don’t worry if you missed out--the Aquarium plans to hold another Family Scuba Snooze in the future, and you can learn more about the Aquarium of Niagara here.
