Good News! Your Wait At The DMV Has Been Shortened

Waiting at the DMV is really a nuisance, usually!  The last time I had to go to my local auto bureau, I was in and out, but that’s not typically the case.  When most people think about a trip to the DMV, they cringe.  The thought of waiting in an endless line is painful.  You know it, I know it and the county knows it!  That’s why they’ve come up with the  "rain check” option!  What??  What does that mean?  Well, the “rain check” option allows..... customers who couldn’t complete their transaction on the first visit, to pick up right where they left off when they return.  Example….Joe Schmo goes to get his Enhanced License, but he didn’t have the proper documents when he came down to the DMV.  Mr. Schmo takes a rain check and is allowed to return and pick right back up where he left off, without waiting.  Those who take rain checks return to one of the 4 major auto bureaus (Cheektowaga, Eastern Hills, Buffalo or Northtown) and head right to the customer service window.
