So I've been watching the show 'The Voice' and enjoying it too.  I love the banter between the coaches and find it interesting to see some of the contestant’s paired with a coach that doesn't fit the artist’s genre.  A few artists last night took a risk by performing the coaches’ songs.  Curtis Grimes did just that by singing Blake Shelton’s “Hillbilly Bone”.   Blake passed on Curtis because he felt the song delivery needed more grit.  Curtis is clearly a country artist but Cee Lo Green ended up hitting his button during his performance which does seem like a weird fit but at the same time it might cool, it’s always good to push your boundaries.  Cee Lo even made the comment that he is growing as a producer and loved the idea of doing different things.

Overall, the show does have my interest but I’m concerned that it may lose some appeal now that the ‘blind auditions’ are over.  Next step, the coaches have to cut their teams from eight to four.  I’m curious to see how this plays out.  What about you?  Are you watching ‘The Voice’?
