Desperate for help at wide receiver, the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday convinced Percy Harvin to come out of retirement and play again.  Harvin has played 73 career games in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, the Seattle Seahawks, the New York Jets and last year played with the Bills.  He was a first round draft choice in 2009.

His season with the Bills last year was cut short by multiple injuries and retired during the season.  But with the Bills having so many receivers out of the lineup with injuries this season they were able to lure Harvin out of retirement.

Harvin was leading all Bills receivers with 19 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown after four games last season before he injured his knee and his hip.  Frustrated at not being able to rehab himself back to health, Harvin called it quits.

To make room on the roster for Harvin the Bills placed safety Aaron Williams on injured reserve.
