One of the biggest New Year's resolutions that people make is to eat better and get into better shape.  But how do you do that when we have such incredible food here in Buffalo?

Let's be honest, one of the best things about Buffalo is the food that we have here.  It's unique.  It's delicious.  And a lot of it can only be found here.

Sure, there's a lot of healthy food to be found here in the Queen City, but the stuff that we are known for and love so much isn't always all that great for you (depending on your diet - for example, some of these foods might be good for a keto diet, but not for someone who is trying to cut down the amount of fat in their diet.  Nutritional needs depend on the individual.  What's good for one isn't always good for everyone.)

So what do you do if you're trying to lose weight but you still want to dig into some of the best that Buffalo has to offer?

First, ask your doctor.  Don't take advice solely from a dude on the radio.  But in many cases it's the "everything in moderation" rule.  It might not be good for you in big meals or for every meal, but sometimes it's ok to treat yourself.  Again...in moderation.

So which Buffalo food will do the least amount of damage to your diet?  I gathered these macros from different sites from MyFitnessPal to NutritionIX.  They might vary from restaurant to restaurant, but for the most part, these numbers will give you an idea of what you're looking at.
