Even if Mother Nature didn’t get the memo yet, it’s officially springtime, Buffalo! Soon enough, these chilly, rainy days will be a thing of the past, and it will be time to dig out your golf clubs and hit the course – well, we hope so at least.
You may remember the Bills signing a trick shot quarterback named Alex Tanney last year. His YouTube video was raising eyebrows before training camp as he threaded the needle from some pretty incredible distances. Unfortunately, he didn't last long with the Bills. The Detroit Lions, however, are hoping for more from their recent kicker acquisition.
There is so much that goes on in sports that we don't get to see. Punches are thrown in the trenches in football, elbows are thrown in the key in basketball, and in hockey...well, people get licked?
I've been a fan of the Buffalo Sabres since they began play in 1970. I've missed very few games over the years but if there was ever one to miss it was Thursday night's game against the Montreal Canadiens. With the addition of Dale Jarrett, the nominees for this year's NASCAR Hall of Fame class are now complete. Jarrett has 32 Cup victories and was the Cup champion in 1999. The nominees will be narrowed to five inductees and announced on May 22nd. The Hall was opened in May of 2010 and currently has 20 members.

So much for the winning streak. After three straight victories the Buffalo Sabres came crashing down to earth with a 4-1 loss in Winnipeg. Giveaways in the second period were costly with the Jets scoring three times while at the other end the Sabres had trouble cashing in on the opportunities they had.
Louisville 82, Michigan 76
Reserve guard Luke Hancock scored 22 points, including making all five of his 3-point shot attempts, as Louisville beat Michigan, 82-76, in the 2013 NCAA basketball championship in Atlanta on Monday night
It had been reported several weeks ago, but on Monday the Buffalo Bills made it official with the introduction of quarterback Kevin Kolb.
I saw this over the weekend. I have to admit that I was definitely emotional after seeing it.
Jack Hoffman is a 7 year old with brain cancer and a big fan of Nebraska football. At the annual spring game, he had a dream come true! He scored a touchdown in a game!
