How Did Lainey Wilson Get Started?

Back in high school, Wilson worked as a Hannah Montana impersonator. She would book her own shows to perform as Hannah Montana at birthday parties, fairs, and festivals across several states. Once she even performed for child cancer patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

After winning “New Female Artist Of The Year” and “Song of the Year” in 2021, Lainey Wilson’s career took off, and it’s no surprise why she was asked to perform at this year’s Great New York State Fair.

Lainey Wilson will be performing at the New York State Fair for opening night. She will take the stage on Wednesday, August 23 at 8:00 PM, which is right around the corner!

Lainey Wilson will perform on the newly renamed Suburban Park Stage as part of The Fair’s Chevrolet Music Series.

There are no tickets for this show, because you are able to see Lainey Wilson in concert so long as you pay admission to the New York State Fair. So basically – it’s free!
