Erie County has a brand new program that is offering the chance for residents 60 years old and above to go out and DINE--FOR FREE. The program is called Dine & Go.

What is Dine & Go that gives you free meals at restaurants in Western New York?

The idea is to get people to go to local businesses to go try a healthy meal.

There is no catch except for that you have to sign up for the program. Every 2 months you will receive vouchers and then be asked, but not required to donate back to the program and take a survey.

  • It is NOT based on income.
  • Anyone can sign up for it.
  • You must call the number to sign up.

Here are the 8 restaurants that are participating in the program:

  1. Cozy Corner, Springville (716) 592-9545
  2. Park Vue Buffalo (716) 262-0384
  3. Peg's Place, Hamburg (716) 627-7800

Here are the rules that are listed on Erie County:

Participants must be 60 years or older, and a resident of Erie County.

2. A registration form must be FULLY COMPLETED by the participant in order to participate in the Go & Dine Restaurant Program.

3. The costs of the approved meals are covered by Erie County. All gratuities and costs of any additional menu are the responsibility of the participant.

4. Go & Dine will no longer continue to allow TAKE-OUT meals as a dining option, effective 1/1/23. Take-Out was put in place temporarily due to past Covid-19 precautions. We are now reverting-back to the original intent of the Go & Dine Program, which is for participants to get out and socialize with the community! Leftovers may be taken home.

5. The meal is for the participant of the Go & Dine Program only. Participants may NOT use their vouchers to cover any meal other than their own. Participants who are caught violating this policy will be removed from the program.

6. Participants are required to present both their assigned key tag and voucher at the beginning of each dining experience.

7. Participants will be asked to answer short surveys about the program. Full participation in these surveys is encouraged so that we may improve and maintain the program.

8. Vouchers for meals will be sent every two months. With each mailing, participants will also receive nutritional education information as well as a self-addressed envelope to send in a voluntary contribution. These contributions will help sustain the Go & Dine Program. Contributions should be made by check. DO NOT SEND CASH. Please make the check payable to the Erie County Department of Senior Services, and put Go & Dine in the
