Today was a big day for the Buffalo Bills.  The first news came earlier today with the announcement that Stevie Johnson and The Bills had agreed on a contract extension.  The next bit of news deals with the home of the bills, Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Channel 2 News  is reporting that Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz is hopeful that he will have a new lease signed at 1 Bills Drive before training camp starts.

That is a huge relief to many Bills fans who are constantly wondering whether their team is going to be here in the near future.

I feel very confident that a lease is going to get done, my goal is to get it done by the beginning of training camp (this summer) and we're going to try and get the longest lease we possibly can." -- Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz

The current lease is set to end in 18 months.
