Resurgence Brewing has officially grown larger than their current building on Niagara Street. The location, which opened five years ago, houses not just their brewery but also their ever popular tap room. Beer drinkers can sip on a cold beer and play a huge game of Jenga right next to the tanks that made the drink in their hand. Even with the patio, the location just can't hold the people and the beer that is being demanded of the brewery. To help keep up with demand Resurgence announced that a new location will be opening in the Old First Ward "as soon as they can". This new location on Chicago St is MASSIVE,  25,000 square foot of the old Cooperage Building will soon house the new brewery and tap room that will have the exact same feel of the Niagara St location.  According to The Buffalo News, more than the just the brewery will be moving into this location along the Buffalo River.

I had a chance to sit with Jeff Ware, Owner and CEO of Resurgence to talk about the new facility and what makes the beer community in WNY so special.
