Dion Dawkins was awarded a contract extension with the Buffalo Bills today but it wasn't just him that was in a jovial mood after business was taken care of.

The Buffalo Bills extended their starting left tackle today and awarded him with a big pay day.  The news seemed to be good for the head coach Sean McDermott too as he showed an uncharacteristic side of himself.

Dion Dawkins gets pranked during a live stream

Dion Dawkins definitely had people plugged in to his social media this morning after tweeting out that he was ready to move on to the next chapter of his football career.

Immediately fans began to think that he was moving on to another team.  However, it was just minutes later that the Bills announced that they had extended him.  Shortly after he went online to do a live stream to celebrate with fans.

He received a call from a "Sean in Orchard Park" that asked him to show that he was truly an entertainer.  He asked if he would share how he felt in a song.

Dawkins recognized the voice almost immediately as that of his head coach but he sang a song anyway.

Dawkins chose to sing Sweet Home Alabama

Dawkins went along with it and sang a song anyway.  He chose the Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Sweet Home Alabama" only he chose to change the words to "Sweet Home Buffalo" to show that he always considers Buffalo to be home.

The Bills have some more work to do with their roster after losing some key players this offseason.  They've lost their starting safety, cornerback, center, and one of their starting wide receivers already.
