My dad’s a firefighter, and I am very proud of that. I always told him that I need to have a job that I can make a difference to someone. It’s a job that you put your life on the line day in and day out, but that also a scary aspect, especially for everyone that has a family member in a public service job like my dad. This selfless firefighter proves why these guys are truly heroes.

There was a three alarm fire tonight.  Buffalo firefighters were called out around 9pm for a fire on North Ogden and Reiman.  The caption that we received said that the fire was at the CSX building on North Ogden St. in Lovejoy.  Thank you to the WYRK listener who sent us this picture of the fire.  Remember, anytime you see something happening in Western New York, don't be afraid to send us a pic!
