November 8, 2012 This morning listening to Clay and Dale, I heard them mention that some retailers like Wal-Mart are getting a jump on Black Friday this year. Instead of the typical midnight or 3am, 4am start in to the holiday shopping season, they’re opening doors on Thanksgiving night with special sales.
It's unfortunate that following the holidays it seems that we always hear about stores that will be closing and this time some very popular well known stores, Sears and Kmart will be closing some locations. The stores that will be closing have not yet been named and we will not know for a while if the list will include any stores within the western New York area.
Awww shoot....it's a good old fashioned dance battle! You choose whose side you're on....Walmart v.s. Target. Here we go!!!! ( Me, personally, I'm embarassed for the poor Walmart employees. I don't know if I could ever have that much spirit for my workplace!!...Sorry guys!!)
Last week I had a post about how much I shop at Wal-Mart. Yesterday at Wal-Mart, Debbie and I got to see the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. This vehicle brings back memories of my childhood. How about you? Do you know the words to the Oscar Meyer Weiner song?
I visit my local Wal-Mart so often that I am on a first name basis with the guys in the Automotive department. I go to Wal-Mart for all my oil changes and many automotive products. I also buy a lot of my pistol, rifle and shotgun ammo there as well
