If you didn't know, Trisha Yearwood has her own cooking show on the Food Network called Trisha's Southern Kitchen. It's currently in its 8th season and has helped produce a few cookbooks as well. A big feature of Trisha's show is always having someone in the kitchen with her. From her sister Beth to her music friends like Kelly Clarkson or Reba she always has someone with her when she's cooking her favorite recipes!

If you were to take all of her recipes in her 8 seasons and have to pick just ONE to make, this is the one you should make! Trisha's Asparagus Bundles are probably the single greatest recipe that I've ever made from any cooking show! They are SO good and really easy to make!

Just watching makes my mouth water!

What you'll need:
2 pounds fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
12 slices bacon
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees, make your bundles, mix your sauce and pour it over! Throw it oven for 25 minutes and get ready for deliciousness!

When Trisha and Garth were in town last year at First Niagara I had a chance to tell Trisha that this was my favorite recipe EVER! Garth said that the bundles were even better the morning after! I then told them I had made them for breakfast before and that I like to put an over easy egg over the bundles! I got a high five from Garth and Trisha told me that she might use that on her cooking show and give me credit! I'm not sure if she'll remember, but if you ever see it you'll know where she got it from!

Trisha's Southern Kitchen airs Saturday's at 10:30am on the Food Network.
