ACM Red Carpet Details + 9 Things To Watch For Tonight

The ACM Awards are on tonight at 8pm on channel 4 with the reigning Entertainer of he Year, Keith Urban taking on first-time hosting duties.

Things are going to look a lot different tonight, but there will still be a red carpet happening with PEOPLE backstage at the Opry before the show. The pre-show will take place one hour beforehand at 7 PM, Buffalo time.

Some cool things to expect from tonight's 55th Academy of Country Music Awards:

• Of course, the Academy of Country Music Awards will be in 3 locations the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium and the Bluebird Cafe.
• OPENING NUMBER: Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, Luke Combs and Luke Bryan will all open the awards with a major performance as they'll be performing a medley of their hits.
• P!nk will join Keith Urban to do their new duet "One Too Many"
• Trisha Yearwood will sing and have a moment as she honors those who passed away in country music this year with 'I’ll Carry You Home'.
• Mickey Guyton will have a major A-list special guest help her sing 'What Are You Going To Tell Her?'
• Old Dominion will do a medley of their #1 hits.
• Carrie Underwood will play a medley of her hits.
• Thomas Rhett + Jon Pardi will duet/Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will duet
• Leading the nominations this year are Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris each have 5 nominations.
