It's looking like there will be a lot more to do this summer than last, and it's got us excited to make playdate plans!
But when it comes to a good playdate, there's a lot of different criteria to consider -- cost, age appropriateness, range of activities -- and how fun is it for mom or dad, too.
Canalside tends to get a lot of the recognition when it comes to Buffalo's waterfront areas, but my kids have always been huge fans of the Outer Harbor. From Gallagher Beach, to the silo views, this is a totally underrated part of WNY.
We know there's a few places to grab a cone along Buffalo's Waterfront, but we'll always have a soft spot for meeting up with friends at The Hatch, on the Erie Basin Marina side of the waterfront.
Have you done the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park Museum tour yet? You'll be amazed at how many steps you'll rack up going through the ships for the tour. Along with that, there's a TON of incredible history to learn, making this tour fun for everyone (no strollers though!).
