$8,000 On The Line For The Best Cow In Hamburg

It’s the first of its kind in Hamburg in the fall! There will be a cow show this weekend on the Hamburg Fairgrounds off of McKinley Parkway in Hamburg New York.

The Fall Harvest Classic Cattle Show is the first time a cattle show will be held during the fall at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York on October 15-17, 2021.  The show is open to exhibitors of all ages and gives individuals experience showing.

Competitors from all over the region will be in town this weekend to show off their animals and compete for the prize money valued it up to $8000!

200 exhibitors representing the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Rhode Island competing for $8,000 in premiums and prizes.

Agriculture is still a vital part of our community here in Western New York and across the country. I’ve said it many times on the air and on post that I do on this website, no farms no food. Many of these competitors will be coming in to show their animals from the family farms that they have. I still believe that the family farm is the backbone of our country. Feeding millions of people is no easy task but it does start one farm at a time and if you love to shop local helping out the agriculture community here in Western New York is the best way to do that.

This is a chance for you to bring your family and see A cow show in person. Ask questions, talk to some of the families and understand a little more about what the farming life is like.
