What an outstanding weekend for the Buffalo Sabres.  After beating the Montreal Canadiens in Buffalo Friday night 2-1, they came right back on Saturday night and beat them again in Montreal 4-3 in a shootout.  And all of a sudden they've put together a nice stretch of five wins in the last six games.

Brian Flynn scored the game winner, the only player among 10 players in the shootout to find the net.  Flynn also scored the game-tying goal less than a minute after the Canadiens took a 3-2 lead in the third period.

Zemgus Girgensons and Chris Stewart scored the other Buffalo goals

Once again Jonas Enroth came up big time and again, stopping 44 shots, plus five more in the shootout to give the Sabres back to back wins against the conference leaders.

The Sabres have another set of back to back games this week; Tuesday night at home and Thursday night on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
