A MASSIVE Amazon Outage Reported Across New York State

There was a massive outage reported early Monday that impacted users of internet sites like Amazon across New York State.

According to multiple reports, the outage was also affecting other popular sites as well.

Mashable reported that: "Amazon services, including Prime and Alexa, as well as other internet services including Snapchat, Roblox, Lyft, and more appear to be disrupted, according to Downdetector".

I noticed that many of the sites we use were either very slow, glitchy or just not opening at all.

If the outage keeps up, many kids who play video games, like ROBLOX, will have a tough start to the week. Our kids LOVE that game! I don't really know much about the game except that they will be cheering one minute and screaming at each other because of it the next.

Many adults might be having a tough start to Monday as well. Shopping, searching and playing online will be tricky until it is fully resolved.

This outage is being explained as a "technical issue" and likely will be fixed relatively soon.
