Amherst Issues Warning To Plow Operators

It is pretty frustrating when you see that someone has dumped snow in the road after cleaning out a driveway. However, I have been in the driver seat of a plow truck and the question can often be...where else can I put it?

Amherst officials have issued another warning/reminder to those that intend to push snow across a street or roadway.

The idea that you are simply just moving the snow across to a bank on the other side of the road seems simple and harmless. However, what is left behind can be a hazard and probably makes the neighbors pretty mad.
