Annette Funicello Recovers in the Hospital After House Fire

M-I-C-K-E-Y  M-O-U-S-E!  Mickey Mouse.  I remember rushing home from school to watch the reruns of the Mickey Mouse Club on one of only three channels we got .  Our rabbit ears and antenna did eventually get us UHF channels but that’s a whole other story.  Back to the Mickey Mouse Club, original cast member Annette Funicello is in stable condition after suffering smoke inhalation when a fire broke out at her LA home.  She is said to be recovering in the hospital.  Annette is 68 years old now but will forever and always be best known as one of the original mouseketeers!  Let’s hope for a speedy recovery.  Full Story at contactmusic.com.
