In honor of International Anti-Bullying Day, two schools from Vancouver , B.C. Canada came together last January to create a message about "Acceptance" and challenge others to use social media as a positive tool.

Sadly, over the last year we have learned of many tragedies due to the lack of accepting people as they are. Feel free to share this posting as a way of continuing the effort to put an end to bullying.

By the way, International STAND UP to Bullying Day is a special bi-annual event. Participants wear a pink “pledge shirt” as a way to take a visible, public stance against bullying. The event takes place in schools, workplaces etc. in 25 countries around the world on the third Friday of November to coincide with Anti-Bullying Week. It also happens on the last Friday (or last Wednesday in Canada) in February.
