Authorities are investigating after they found the bodies of two small dogs inside white trash bags at the side of the road in Lockport.

Its a disturbing case that began on Thursday morning after two small dogs were found by the highway crew in trash bags on Wilson Road in Lockport.  According to WKBW, the animals were severly burned and abused and police are looking for answers.

The two dogs appear to have been around 2 years old and are described as being small with one of them being a pug and the other a terrier.
