Buffalo Police Called for Kids on Top of Downtown Grain Mills
The Buffalo, New York Police were pretty busy this weekend, including getting a call for some kids that were on top of the grain mills in Buffalo.
The Buffalo New York police were very busy over memorial Day weekend. There were at least three shootings that happened in downtown Buffalo and one included a police officer shooting as well.
But over the weekend in the midst of all the chaos the Buffalo police got a phone call that there were kids on top of one of the grain mills in downtown Buffalo over by Riverworks. When you see the video down below and not necessarily it might not be the Green Mill but it looks like it is the building that is associated with the grain Mill right by Riverworks. Check out the video below!
Who knows how they got up there but they have been abandoned for quite some time so there must even just be a staircase that they can get into. After all all the doors and windows are broken out so can't be that hard to just get inside. The grain mills by Riverworks were turned in 100 foot tall Labatt Blue cans that are now quite the attraction when you come to Western New York. The grain mills were used for hog and cattle grain. At the time when the grain mills were built in Buffalo back in 1897, the elevator inside was the tallest elevator in the world. Now, defunct, the grain mills just sit there. In the 1980s the buildings were not in operation any more and in the 90s they were bought in order to demolish, but there was much controversy about the demolition.
