Transit Road Walmart Makes Emergency Evacuation

Multiple sources have reported that the Transit Road Walmart had an evacuation on Monday night.

The Walmart on Transit Road in Williamsville/Clarence area was cleared out for an emergency evacuation as there was a threat. The Transit Road Walmart is located at 5033 Transit Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221. No press release was offered by any of the many agencies on scene. Callers said that there were dozens and dozens of emergency vehicles on hand and people were being asked to leave the store immediately. There were many residents who were saying that law enforcement was sweeping for explosives--this was confirmed by workers at the Walmart although, no official statement by police has been made.
