Bear Captured On Video In Clarence Neighborhood [WATCH]
Here in Western New York, we have some animals that you can see on a daily basis, such as deer, raccoons, or rabbits. I know I see deer all the time in the West Seneca area, near where I live.
However, even though it's rare, bears have been spotted time-to-time in the Buffalo area and there was a sighting just last night in the northtowns.
According to WKBW, a black bear was caught on camera roaming through a backyard off Tillman Road in Clarence.
You can watch the video below.
The video is short but as you can see, the bear was very close to someone's home as the bear roamed through the backyard.
According to a Facebook user, a bear was also spotted in front of a home in Clarence a few days before as well. Chances are it's the same bear and more people might have spotted it,
If you remember last year, black bears were spotted in both Depew and Cheektowaga. Of course, we all remember the Amherst bear, which is one of the more famous stories in Western New York of the last 20 years. While not common, there have been recent sightings.
If you come across a bear, it's best to leave it alone and call the local police. Never approach a bear and don't leave food outside, which could attract one.
