Ever since I was a teenager, I have enjoying shooting firearms and doing some competitive shooting. When I was a freshman at Williamsville North High School, I belonged to the school rifle club and we would shoot every Tuesday night at Williamsville South's indoor basement range. It was a lot of fun while at the same time teaching me gun safety and proper firearms handling. Later as an adult, I did a lot of trap shooting at the Buffalo Shooting Club in Williamsville and won a few tournaments. Currently, I am looking to get back to competitive shooting, but this time with some of my pistols. Most likely in .22LR and .45ACP calibers.

Gun manufacturer Ruger is sponsoring a bunch of beginner shooting competitions all across the country. You can find out more by visiting their website at: www.ruger.com This particular video will show you more of what the Ruger shooting competitions are all about. I own several Ruger guns and rank them as one of my favorite brands along with Smith & Wesson, Browning, Springfield Armory and Colt.
