Soup season is here.  Before you know it, the weather will be warming up so now is the time to get in on all that brothy, creamy goodness.

Soup is the ultimate comfort food.  It makes you feel warm inside and it is deceptively filling.  There's just nothing like starting a pot early on the weekend and just going back to that huge pot for another cup all day long.

It feels like people have gotten much more creative with their soup flavors over the years too.  Back in the day, it was like there was just a handful of soups to choose from.  There was chicken noodle, vegetable beef, tomato, and maybe a cream of mushroom.  Now, soup recipes are more like full comfort meals themselves, only in a liquid form.  We have Buffalo chicken wing soup, chicken pot pie soup, creamy Italian sausage, and even beef on weck soup.
