Whenever I get the chance to spread the word about a great event that helps give back to the community, I’m ready to go! Recently, I was asked to help spread the word about a fundraiser coming up to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. It sounds like a wonderful time, and you’re invited!

Children’s Hospital here in Buffalo does so many incredible things for families throughout Western New York and beyond. If you haven’t personally been impacted by this amazing facility and the people who work there, chances are you know someone who has.

A good friend of mine, Scott, has his own personal story to share about his granddaughter, Cadence. She suffered two strokes during the first two days of her life and spent about a month at Children’s Hospital after she was born.

According to Scott, if it weren’t for the incredible people at Children’s Hospital, his family wouldn’t have the hope they have today for Cadence. Today, he says she is a little bundle of laughs and giggles—and that is something worth celebrating!

That’s why Scott has put together a block party fundraiser to give back to the people at Children’s Hospital while honoring this special and amazing little girl.

Western-Themed Block Party in Depew

The block party is scheduled for August 15 at 5 p.m. at 36 Lee St. in Depew, New York. This year’s event will feature a Western theme, with performances scheduled by J.B. Aaron and Savannah Swatland.

You’re asked to bring a lawn chair and a cooler with your own drinks. Ice cream will be provided for the kids!

It’s sure to be a wonderful event, but if you can’t make it, you’re still encouraged to consider making a donation to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

Checks can be made payable to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, with “Cadence Jarrell” in the memo line.

Donations can be mailed to:

Scott Jarrell
36 Lee Street
Depew, NY 14043

Thank you so much for considering helping this great cause and honoring such a wonderful family and beautiful little girl. Every bit of support can help make a difference!
