“Big Mistake” Happened on LIVE TV Yesterday During the Buffalo Bills Game
If you were watching the Buffalo Bills game yesterday, you probably heard this and had to ask yourself if you heard this right. The official made a mistake yesterday that everyone heard on LIVE TV.
Yes, he accidentally called it a basketball and not a football.
There was a play in the 1st quarter where Josh Allen was forced out of bounds and the ball was scooped up by the Houston Texans. The official made a mistake when calling the play , he called the football a basketball. Of course it went viral.
Here is why he probably said that:
The Buffalo Bills are taking on the New York Jets next week on Monday night football and the Bills are the 2.5 point favorite. The game will come right after a heart breaker for Western New York. The Buffalo Bills were getting blown out in the first half by Stefon Diggs and the Houston Texans. They started to make a comeback and had a 17 point comeback to tie the game at 20 before some horrible play calling let the Houston Texans get back down the field and kick a field goal. The Bills ended up losing the game 23-20. This game could have some major effects on the playoff picture as the season goes on.
The Bills were open arms when it came to their former teammate Stefon Diggs. After the game you could see Diggs embracing some of his former teammates.
Kickoff for next Monday night's game is 8:15 PM.
