Several weeks ago the Billoni brothers - Michael, Paul and Anthony were presented the prestigious Anthony M. Castiglia Achievement Award for their many years of charitable work and helping so many in the community.  That presentation was made during the St. Joseph's Day Table event March 19th at Ilio Di Paolo's Restaurant in Blasdell.

On Monday night, May 14th, the three brothers were presented a check for $4500 representing the proceeds of ticket sales from that March 19th event.  That check will be used in support of the Colvin Cleaners "Gowns for Prom" and "Coats 4 Kids" programs.

Paul Billoni is President and CEO of Colvin Cleaners which for the past 13 years collects, cleans and alters prom gowns and makes them available to young ladies who otherwise would not be able to afford them.  And for the past 23 years the company has collected and cleaned donations of coats, hats, gloves and scarves and distributed them at not cost to families in need.

His brother Mike Billoni is the former Vice President and General Manager of the Buffalo Bisons and now operates Billoni Associates, a communication and publishing company.  Mike has long been active in the Food Bank of Western New York, WNY Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse and other charitable causes for more than 50 years.

Finally, the third brother Anthony Billoni is the Director of Tobacco-Free WNY at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, owner of AB Creativity Consulting, Past-President of the Rotary Club of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and has served on a number of community boards for over 30 years.

The intent of the Anthony M. Castiglia Achievement Award is to recognize local Italian-Americans for their philanthropy and to promote what their ethnic pride brings to Western New York.  The Billoni brothers certainly fit that description perfectly.  Congratulations to Paul, Mike and Anthony.
