The Buffalo Bills play their biggest game of the regular season tonight.

The Cincinnati Bengals host the Bills at Paycor Stadium for what's the most anticipated Monday Night Football game in years.

The Bills (12-3) are the one seed and the Bengals (11-4) are the three seed in the AFC. Both teams are red hot right now, too, with the Bills having won six straight games and the Bengals have won seven straight.

We're still waiting to see if Bills safety Jordan Poyer will be active for tonight's game, which would be a huge blow to Buffalo's chances, considering they're playing arguably the best wide receiver core in the NFL: Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd.

One bit of news that people may not be aware of is who is officiating this game.

Veteran referee Shawn Smith has been assigned as the head referee for tonight's Monday Night Football Game.

Believe it or not, the Bills are 6-0 in their last six games officiated by Smith. The last time the Bills lost a game that Smith officiated was Ravens at Bills from 2019.

It's the Bills best record with any referee since 2019. Smith's crew also calls their fair share of defensive holding and pass interference calls.

This would also imply this game will be high scoring, as many are predicting. Both offenses are explosive and with a crew who isn't afraid to throw a flag on a defensive penalty, that means we could see fireworks.

The Bills need to win to control their own fate for the one seed. If the Bengals win, they would then need to win their final game against the Baltimore Ravens and have the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Las Vegas Raiders to clinch the one seed.

Kickoff is at 8:30 pm tonight.
