The Buffalo Sabres Will Continue Their Unique Giveaway For Thanksgiving Eve

Every year for the last couple of years on Thanksgiving Eve, the Buffalo Sabres have given away an item that you could use on your Thanksgiving table. They're continuing that tradition this year.

The Buffalo Sabres released their promotional schedule today. It's the schedule of extra theme nights and special giveaways that they have planned for the season. They will be doing a special night for military appreciation, a night focused on mental health, one to honor those we've lost to cancer, and more. Plus, they've got some really cool giveaways like a Rasmus Dahlin bobblehead, a mini championship banner, and more. But one of the most unique will probably be the giveaway for Thanksgiving Eve.

The Sabres are continuing with the Thanksgiving table-themed giveaways

In 2024, the Buffalo Sabres started something that a lot of people thought was just a joke. They told everyone that they were going to give away a gravy boat to the first 10,000 fans through the door on Thanksgiving Eve. People couldn't tell if they were serious. But they soon found out that they were, and people went nuts for them.

So, they did it again the next year. In 2025, they decided to give away a butter dish. The idea was that they could go to the game before Thanksgiving, then have something to use on their table the next day when the family was there.

This year, the Sabres are giving away salt & pepper shakers

In order to continue with the Thanksgiving Table theme, the Sabres will be doing it again this year. Only instead of gravy boats and butter dishes, it will be salt & pepper shakers.

The even better news is that it appears as though every fan in attendance will get a set. So you won't have to worry about them running out before your ticket is scanned.
