Buffalo Sabres Announce New Updates Coming Soon To KeyBank Center

Last year, we saw a much-improved product on the ice at KeyBank Center with the Buffalo Sabres. Now, they're hoping to make the experience a little better too.

Updates Coming Soon To KeyBank Center

Today, the Sabres posted a few pictures highlighting some improvements that you will see this season at KeyBank Center. Many of them involve making purchases easier, and hopfully quicker. But others show actual changes to lounges and clubs.

The Michelob Ultra Lounge will be open to all fans

This lounge area will be on the 100 level of the arena and it's going to be available to all guests. It's meant to serve guests quickly and more efficiently to get you back to the game quicker. While many of the stands are moving to grab-and-go options, this one will have made-to-order food for the patrons. Plus, it will feature an expanded bar area.

There will also be a "market" sponsored by Sahlen's

This market appears to be one of those grab-and-go areas I just mentioned above. It'll have things like hot dogs, pretzels, nachos with cheese, pop, and canned beer. Again, the goal is to help you get your snacks and get you back to your seat without missing much of the action.

They're reimagining the 1970 Club

This update is a little more exclusive. While the updates above will be available to all fans, this one will only be open to "signature seats" members. They'll have food, beer and wine in what they're calling a "newly refreshed setting."

I was able to check this place out for a friend's wedding, but I've never been there for a game.

The Sabres Store will see some upgrades too

The upgrades aren't all just for food and drinks. The Sabres Store looks like they've made some partnerships with other labels to allow new offerings for souvenirs and apparel also. They've also added self-checkout there, to make it easier to get in and out also.
