The Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers game was one for the history books even before the game was over! It was the first time in NFL history that the score at halftime was 17-8!

According to CBS Sports:

The Bills led the Panthers 17-8 at halftime -- the first game in NFL history that had a 17-8 halftime score, according to Fox. There has been one 17-8 final in the 102 years of the the NFL, the Milwaukee Badgers defeated the Chicago Cardinals on November 8, 1924 -- so there won't be a Scorigami with that final score.

Prior to the game, I was watching the warm ups from my seat in the Public Address Booth and saw the kicker fall to the ground in obvious pain. Zane Gonzalez got injured in the pre-game and was not able to play in the game. The Panthers used a wide receiver for kickoffs and went for the two-point conversion on touchdowns. It was one of the strangest things that I have seen at a Buffalo Bills game. To have the 17-8 score at halftime seemed rather fitting.

The Buffalo Bills went on to beat the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday in Orchard Park. It was such a fun game to watch and although it was cold, Highmark Stadium was packed! It is going to be an exciting week as we get ready for Christmas and the game against the New England Patriots! The Bills pretty much control their own destiny and for the playoffs to still be a possibility, they will need to win the last regular season games on the schedule.
