Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Have a New Duet Called ‘Nobody But You’
Shelton's new album includes five new recordings and seven recent hits. "God's Country," "Hell Right," "Nobody But You," "Jesus Got a Tight Grip" and "Tequila Sheila" are the new tracks. The latter is a Bobby Bare song Shelton first released in November 2018 to promote his upcoming tour.
The new Gwen Stefani duet is the only one of the 12 tracks not yet available in some capacity. Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Tommy Lee James wrote the song, described as a tender duet. A press release includes quotes from Shelton expressing how the song fits where he is in his life.
He also shares that the decision to add his girlfriend was made last minute, "because it's our song. I think it's magic," he says.

The album is being released somewhat reluctantly by Shelton. Earlier this year, he caused a stir by suggesting he was done releasing albums. Instead, he says, he prefers to release songs as they come to him, allowing for a more nimble approach that speaks to the way fans consume music today. The hitmaker and The Voice coach also conceded that his record label would insist on an album sooner than later, and when Fully Loaded: God's Country (Dec. 13) was announced, he reiterated his position.
"Well, I knew the label would come up with some plan to release an album. I’ve been vocal about how much I like this new way of releasing songs more frequently," he said, perhaps joking. "It keeps me excited and gives me the opportunity to find the hot new song that I love and get it out to the fans quickly. I think they like it too."
Previously, Shelton and Stefani have collaborated on his "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" and a Christmas song called "You Make It Feel Like Christmas." "Nobody But You" is different from "Nobody But Me," Shelton's Top 5 hit from 2005.
