The Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane was recently named the best general manager in the NFL on Twitter by NFL Gameday.
Brandon Beane has been the general manager in Buffalo since 2017 and since he took over that role, he has transformed the Buffalo Bills into a playoff team and is currently the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl this season.
Some of the biggest moves Beane has in his tenure include drafting and re-signing quarterback Josh Allen to a long-term deal. Beane also dealt for Stefon Diggs and drafted Gabe Davis.
This offseason Beane was able to sign free agent and Super Bowl champion Von Miller to help boost the defense. He has also been able to restructure several contracts to help keep the team under the salary cap and still keep a very competitive team on the field.
This offseason the Bills have added Rodger Saffold III, Tim Settle, DT, DaQuan Jones, DT, Von Miller, LB, O.J. Howard, TE, Jordan Phillips, DT, Shaq Lawson, DE.
Beane was named the Sporting News Executive of the Year in 2020 and with the moves he made this offseason so far, he is in a good spot to win that award again this season as well as many others including the Super Bowl.
Bills fans should get used to smart moves and deals since Beane is signed through the 2025 season.
