Have you ever been to Buckhorn State Park? This nature preserve located on Grand Island comprises 895 acres of marsh, meadows and woods. Many folks probably don't even know that it exists.

My friend Tom Garwol of Williamsville recently visited Buckhorn State Park on Grand Island. He snapped these beautiful photos for you to enjoy. Buckhorn State park is open to the public. You can walk the nature trails, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, fish, and cross country ski in the park. Please keep in mind there are NO RESTROOM FACILITIES!
