Buffalo Bills Search For Their Next Head Coach Heats Up
The Buffalo Bills are on a hunt for their 20th head coach and here's the schedule and who they are interviewing.
The Buffalo Bills said they have tons of candidates they would like to talk to and it did not matter if they were a fresh coach, a new coach, a veteran coach, a defensive mind coach or an offensive mine coach--they're looking at all their options.
In fact they say that interviews will still happen even after the Super Bowl because they're looking to interview some people that are still playing in the conference championships this weekend.
So far the Buffalo Bills have interviewed two people who have been previously the offensive coordinators in Western New York. Current offensive coordinator Joe Brady, and former offensive coordinator when Josh Allen first started Brian Daboll have both completed their first interviews with the Buffalo Bills.
Who are the Buffalo Bills interviewing today? Here is the schedule for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job:
- Friday: the Buffalo Bills will interview Mike McDaniel and Philip Rivers
- Saturday: Anthony Lynn and Anthony Weaver
- Sunday: Mike Udinski
Fans seem to love that Philip Rivers interviewed for the head coaching position of the Buffalo Bills and ironically Josh Allen was the quarterback that beat Philip Rivers in his final playoff game. The idea of him coaching Josh Allen is very intriguing to fans. Fans also we're not thrilled with the departure of Sean McDermott Even though tons of fans called for McDermott to be fired throughout the season. There have been over 40,000 different signatures on a petition to reinstate Sean McDermott. Though that is extremely unlikely we have yet to hear exactly where Sean McDermott will begin his interviewing process because he did say that he does want to continue coaching in the National Football League.
