Buffalo Bills Give Dawson Knox Three More Years
The Bills' mantra for the last couple of seasons has been to draft, develop, and resign core players. Today, they're sticking to that by resigning veteran tight end Dawson Knox.
The Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms on a new contract for Dawson Knox
Dawson Knox has been a dependable tight end for Josh Allen since he was drafted in 2019. While many thought that his time in Buffalo might be coming to an end because of the arrival of Dalton Kincaid, it appears it's far from over. The Bills have agreed to a new contract for him that will keep him here for another 3 years.

Dawson showed some improvement last season after two down years
Dawson Knox easily had his best season in 2021 when he 587 receiving yards on 49 catches with 9 touchdowns. 2022 was similar but then he began to slip. In 2023 and 2024, he struggled. He had just over 180 yards in 2023 and just over 311 in 2024. It shouldn't be a surprise though. That's when Dalton Kincaid was drafted.
The 2025 season was a bit of a comeback year for Knox. With over 400 yards on 36 receptions, he started to look like the player that we all knew and loved again in 2021.
The Bills now have 3 talented tight ends on their roster
The Bills are in a great place with their tight ends. Now, with Dawson Knox re-signed, they'll have Knox, Kincaid, and Jackson Hawes who seemed to be a huge factor in games with his blocking skills. He was also able to tally 3 touchdowns on 16 receptions in 2025.
