Buffalo Bills Fans: Get Ready To Get Really MAD

We can’t go to Tim Hortons without thinking that the employee wishing us to “Have a nice day!” is being a jerk. When our kid’s go-to breakfast cereal is out of stock at Tops, we curse under our breath. And when, God forbid, we are stuck in traffic on the 290 on that atrocious “Niagara Falls” exit to the right, Heaven help us all.  

This is what happens every single time Western New York starts to lose faith in the Buffalo Bills.

We’re frustrated, we’re disappointed, and if you banked on anyone from Buffalo in your fantasy football lineup last week, you may be broke. But as someone who has loved the Buffalo Bills for most of my life but only lived among the Western New York wild for three years has learned– getting mad is not a bad thing.

Sometimes, the best bonding of our “City Of Good Neighbors” is how genuinely enraged we get together after a Bills loss– especially, as Mike Greenburg said, such a DUMB one.
