People who love Sunday afternoon games aren't going to be excited about this one.  The Bills game has just been flexed out of the 1 pm time slot.

Remember when the Bills never got a game outside of the 1 pm time slot?  It was like the NFL never wanted them in a primetime (or even late afternoon) game.  It's not like that now though.  Now, it's kind of uncommon to see the Bills play an early game.

This week, the Bills were scheduled to take on the 3-11 New England Patriots in Buffalo at 1 pm, but the NFL just changed the time.

The weather forecast right now looks as though we are going to see temperatures topping out in the teens on Sunday.  So by the time kickoff comes around and that sun sets, it's probably going to be ridiculously cold.  That atmosphere is going to be absolutely crazy and the NFL is signed up for it.

Many people see it as a compliment to have a later time slot.  The country was originally going to see the Dolphins take on the 49ers in that time slot.  Apparently with both of those teams essentially out of the playoffs, they thought it was best to feature another game.  With the Bills knocking off one of the NFC's best teams, they are about as hot as they come.

The Bills only have three games left in the regular season and they trail the Kansas City Chiefs by 2 games for the 1 seed and an automatic bye for the first round of the playoffs.  The Bills have to play the Patriots twice and the Jets once.  The Chiefs still have to beat the Texans, the Steelers, and the Broncos.  All of their remaining schedule is currently on pace to make it into the playoffs.  None of the teams the Bills will face are in it.  This could come down to week 17 to see who grabs that 1 seed.
