Bills Mafia just celebrated a win on what many were dubbing the "final" game at Highmark Stadium. But what if it wasn't actually the last one there? Would you believe there is still a chance that they could play one more game there?

Here's what it would take for the Buffalo Bills to earn one more game at Highmark Stadium

Unfortunately, it's not completely in the hands of the Buffalo Bills. They will need some help from another team. While the Bills will have to win out the next couple of weeks, if the Los Angeles Chargers can also win out, the AFC Championship would come down to the Bills and the Chargers at Highmark Stadium.

How likely is it that the Bills and Chargers will win out?

It's a pretty hefty task to ask both the Chargers and the Bills to win the rest of their games. However, the chances of it happening aren't 0. It's possible. It's just highly unlikely.

Unfortunately, a 7 seed has never made it to the AFC Championship game. Granted, they only began offering a spot to a 7 seed in the playoffs in 2020, but in the last 5 years, it's never happened. It's a pretty steep hill to climb. In Wild Card weekend, the 7 seed has to take on the 2 seed. Then, if they win, they still have to take on the 1 seed the very next week.

The 6-seed, however, has made it to the championship and even won it. In 2005, the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to not only make it to the AFC Championship, but they went on to win the Super Bowl.

The Packers in 2010-2011 and the Steelers in 2005-2006 have both started as 6 seeds and not only won their conference championship but also the Super Bowl.
