Former Buffalo Bills Player Charged With Murder, Death Penalty
A former Buffalo Bills player brutal murdered his girlfriend and now might be facing the death penalty. Lee was arrested on first degree murder on February 6, 2026 for the death of his girlfriend, Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo.
Former Buffalo Bills linebacker Darron Lee, who turned 31 this past October, killed his girlfriend inside of the home that they rented in Tennessee just 10 days after the moved in. The scene was horrific.
How did Darron Lee kill his girlfriend?
You have to see the video below. Brian Lockhart, who is with the Sheriff's office said, “There was blood going up the staircase on the hand rail. There was blood on the walls. There was blood on the floor in the living room. There was blood in the hallway upstairs", according to Times of India.
Apparently, he tried to clean up the murder before authorities arrived because when they scanned the room they could see where the blood had previously been when it lit up blue everywhere.
It is not the first time that he has run into trouble.
Lee had gotten into a pretty big altercation with a woman around New York City in 2019 and missed a court date a couple of years ago that garnished a lot of attention as well. Last year he was charged with having a controlled substance and assult.
Lee played for the Buffalo Bills on the active roster for only a couple of games in the 2020-2021, where he was originally signed to the practice squad, elevated and then sent back down to the practice squad, leaving the Buffalo Bills after his contract expired at the end of the season.
