Dismal, grim, inept, nauseating ...you can use any adjective you want in describing the Buffalo Bills performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at New Era Field.  Entering the game only one game in the win column separated the two teams but on the field they were light years apart.  The Steelers manhandled and embarrassed the Bills on their way to a 27-20 victory.

For a guy who considers himself a defensive mastermind, Rex Ryan's defense got steamrolled by the Steelers.  And it all started with the Bills failure to stop the run or even come close to it.  Le'veon Bell burned the Bills for 236 yards rushing and three touchdowns.  He added an additional 62 yards on 4 receptions.

Ben Rothlisberger threw for 220 yards and constantly kept the Bills off balance with his key throws in short yardage situations.  The Bills did come up with 3 interceptions.  One of them set up a Bills touchdown, but otherwise those picks served as damage control.

Tyrod Taylor turned in another uninspiring performance.  He finished with 220 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns, but when the game was on the line he failed to deliver.

One play after the Bills' Zach Brown intercepted a pass in the end zone to end a Steelers drive in the fourth quarter, Taylor handed the ball right back to the Steelers when a pass for Marquis Goodwin was underthrown and intercepted.

So it'll be 17 years out of the playoffs for the Bills.  Where do they go from here?  They have the 0-13 Cleveland Browns next week, but the question is will Rex Ryan be the Bills' coach?  There was report from a reputable source that depending on the outcome of the Steelers game, Ryan would be fired as coach of the Bills.
