Bills fans have been following along with every step of the construction of the New Highmark Stadium. At the same time, it's hard to see the old one go.

You know the sad, straight-lipped look that people get on their faces when they don't know what to say about a sad situation? It's the look that a lot of Bills fans make every time a new video comes out of part of the stadium coming down. Today, the landscape looks a little different in Orchard Park as a large part of the stadium came down.

Part of the 300 Section of the old Highmark Stadium came down

Demolition crews have been working almost nonstop to take down the old Highmark Stadium now that the new one is getting its final touches. Today, it was the 300 section of the stadium. While much of the stadium was dug down into the ground, the 300 section included the seats that you could actually see sticking out of the stadium from ground level.

It's harder to see when those were your seats

We all know that things have to move forward for the Bills. They were never going to be able to play in that stadium forever. And the new stadium looks incredible. It's got all the bells and whistles a fan and player could possibly hope for. But that doesn't make it easier to see the old one go away. The memories that were made in those seats will live on forever for some fans. For football fans, concert goers, and more, that stadium was home to moments.

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to sit in a lot of seats in that stadium. But these seats that came down today were seats where I sat with friends of mine for a lot of games. It's just sad to see them go.
