Is Tyreek Hill Hinting At A New Start With The Buffalo Bills?
Tyreek Hill tweeted out a cryptic statement today that has football fans guessing what he means and wondering if he's coming back soon.
Tyreek Hill tweets cryptic statement
We've seen it happen before, and it's almost always with wide receivers. When they become a free agent, they begin to make people guess where they want to go next. We saw it with OBJ when he was looking for his next team, then we saw it with DeAndre Hopkins. Today, the cryptic tweet came from former Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill.
"I think I'm ready for some cold weather"
That was the simple statement that had people reeling online. What city could he be talking about? Every fan that lives in a cold-weather city started wondering if he was talking about them. The Bills are easily one of the top teams in the NFL when people think about cold weather but they're not the only one. Green Bay was a popular thought in the comments. How many times have we seen games on the frozen tundra at Lambeau Field? Minnesota is a cold city, but they play in a dome so I'm not sure if that one makes much sense.
New England is an intriguing option. They've been known to have some cold winters, and they play outside. It would be a move within the division from one AFC East team to another so it could be a great way to stick it to his old team.
Could it be the Steelers? Is it the Bears? It might be awhile before we find out.
When will Tyreek even be able to play?
First things first, we have to remember that Tyreek went out on an injury. It was a brutal one too. He suffered a dislocated left knee that also gave him multiple torn ligaments (ACL included) in week 4 of the 2025 season. It's not an injury that many people bounce back quickly from.
He might have some teams in mind that he would like to play for, but we haven't seen a healthy Tyreek in a while either.
